The storyline was great... I love how all the females in the book were all strong and ready to ride with family, with no questions asked. You get tired of reading about weak females that want to scream all the time instead of helping. Although this was a good read, the grammer could definitely use some work, and that's why I gave it 4*'s instead of 5, but all in all, this was a great story and now I'm about to download part 2 and 3 because, well, I just need to know what happens in the very end..
This was a good quick read. It just goes to show that even those closest will allow greed to get the best of them. Once that occurs, the love one is suppose to have is tested and the snake that they truly are is shown. At times I wanted to knock some sense into Abel because of how he was always trying to please Richard, but neglecting Anna. Cain's love for Marilyn caused him to actually think of the consequences if they did what was asked of them. Kevin is that dude and it's clear why Sr. chose him. Richard was a low life and it clearly showed how weak he was. He was willing to do whatever was necessary to take over, regardless of who he had to hurt in the process. Sorry ass!!! Then after doing the unthinkable to his wife, he deserved everything that came his way. Sr. seems like the type that doesn't play games and it was long overdue for him to emerge. At times ones loyalty was put to the test but eventually those that mattered showed their love and weeded out the snake. I'm a little curious as to where Richard may be hiding and if Anna's relationship with her dad will work out. Also, if there'll be anymore snakes that have yet to show their true colors.
As always another awesome book. Never give up on your dreams I can see you going far. I can't wait for the next book.
Great book, I really enjoyed the book. The story line was great. Two great authors, I can't wait for part two.....
